APK Identification 46x42mm Teardrop electrodes are single-use solid gel electrodes for accurate monitoring of heart signals. Each electrode combines an Ag/AgCl (silver/silver chloride) sensor on a conductive ABS plastic stud, a solid conductive gel, a skin-friendly adhesive and a soft foam or non-woven cloth backing. The Ag/AgCl sensor keeps signal noise and skin impedance low, while the solid gel forms a stable interface between the skin and the sensor, translating the heart's ionic signals into an electron flow that the monitor can read.
